Graduate profile

The graduate knows scientific methods of research and development using scientific knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, enzymology, bioengineering, chemical and bioanalytical methods, and techniques. He knows experimental work concerning the cultivation of different cultures and species of living organisms and the functionality and structural properties of production biotechnological systems. He is able to apply the latest scientific and technical procedures and approaches using the knowledge in the field of chemical engineering, bioengineering, mechanical engineering disciplines for modelling and simulation of biotechnological processes using modern operating systems.

The graduate knows the principles of scientific work, he is able to work independently and experimentally, to present creatively new methodological solutions and application possibilities of use of scientific benefits in social practice and development of the field of study. He is able to apply the principles of ethical and social aspects of scientific work, the presentation of results, the development of the field of study of biotechnology, as well as legal and environmental aspects in a global context.
